Antipattern of Merging "Capture", "Clarify" and "Organize"

Fleeting

capture, clarify, organize

I think the separation of 5 steps of gtd makes a lot more sense that we may think at first sight. I think it is above all a way to split those into separate time frames.

We all intuitively know that we have to capture the work think about it and then decide what to do, so I thing the strength of gtd is not only describing them.

Sometimes, when stuff come to us, we tend to want to deal with them right now. We want to get it out as fast as possible and rush to the organize step.

Yet, those steps are not at all as demanding for the brain. Capturing is easy, but clarifying may be tiring and therefore organizing may becomes “whatever, as long as I can go back to doing other things”.

Somehow, I think that this is related to the capture and forget antipattern, because separating the steps needs to have a system to support those and you might only have time to capture.
