particularly like the ASK protocol because of it’s elegant simplicity. I think it gets overlooked for many projects because the cheap transmitter / receiver pairs you can buy online are supplied with absolutely terrible receiver modules. These poor quality poor quality receivers ruin the whole experience. When the receiver is replaced with a superior module the quality improves greatly.
